ORC TURBINE POWER PLANT

ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) containerized power plants, produced with a unit capacity of 1 MW to 25 MW, provide electricity generation from any energy sources, including the combustion of various types of fuel, as well as using heat from industrial processes, hot condensate from boilers and thermal power plants, geothermal sources and other sources.
The ProWaste Group develops, manufactures and supplies ORC power plants under the Proton-ORC brand of its production for various tasks of customers, types of fuel and energy sources.

ORC modules can be:
  • Low Temperature
ORC modules for the disposal of heat transfer fluids with a temperature of 80°C to 250°C, with a capacity of 1 to 2.5 MW.
  • High Temperature
ORC plants for working with heat transfer fluids from 260°C to 350°C, with capacities from 1.5 to 25* MW.
  • Stationary
ORC plants with a capacity of up to 100 MW consist of high-temperature ORC turbines installed in a cascade.

ORC power plants operate on the principle of the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) and use a double-circuit system consisting of an R600a freon heat pump and a turbine circuit with Elegaz working fluid through a coupling. The power plants are supplied as prefabricated modules, including an ORC-based turbine generator, a control system, a circuit breaker for parallel operation with other units or the network, and heat exchangers with circulation pumps to the heat exchanger.

ORC power plants are highly environmentally friendly, efficient and cost-effective, making them competitive with traditional diesel, gas reciprocating and gas turbine generators. The ability to use a variety of fuels increases their versatility and reliability, and the container layout allows them to be quickly commissioned at the customer's site, and operate autonomously in remote areas without access to the network

PARAMETERS OF THE POWER PLANT «PROTON-ORC»
Proton-ORC power plants are designed to generate three-phase AC electricity with a voltage of 0.4, 6 and 10.5 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz. They provide primary switching, allowing the unit to be connected to consumer loads and used as an autonomous source of power supply.
The units are equipped with generators that provide high reliability and stable operation, are characterized by high efficiency, compact size and adaptability to various operating conditions. They are capable of operating a wide range of loads, maintaining a stable voltage and frequency of output current, making them an ideal choice for stand-alone and standby power supply systems.
The versatility of Proton-ORC power plants allows them to reliably start and operate stably in a variety of climatic and geographical conditions. The unit is adapted for operation in a wide range of temperatures and is highly resistant to external factors.
